Sirit Poland becomes a member of Confindustria Polonia

Sirit Poland became a member of Confidustria Polonia, which aims to promote and support trade and industrial and entrepreneurial activities between Poland and Italy.

Association with HQ in Wrocław and subsidiaries in Warsaw, Katowice and Czestochowa is a part of a wide network of the General Confederation of Italian Industry called Confindustria, the Italian employers’ federation and national chamber of commerce, founded in 1910. Polish branch was born in 2019 as a consequence of the increasing number and influence of Italian investments in Poland, especially in industries like: automotive components, white-goods production, aerospace, chemicals and plastics, etc. – We enthusiastically welcomed the SIRIT Poland among the members of our association, whose well-established experience and quality of products make our cooperation develop dynamically. The automotive industry, for which Sirit supplies components for pneumatic braking systems, is of strategic importance for the Polish economy. Due to its location, proximity to strategic partners and the business-related environment, the Polish automotive market is an important pitch in the European arena, worth playing on. – comments Alessandro Saglio, general manager  of Confindustria Poland.

There are about 2,500 companies with Italian shareholders present in Poland, with strong manufacturing investments or with commercial or consultancy activities. Among the foreign partners, Italy over the last 3 decades has conquered a position of great strength, establishing itself as Poland’s second trading partner among the EU countries (behind Germany), with an exchange that in 2020 exceeded 21 billion of Euro.
